    I'm not with you as to why you are scrapping the PCI panel you've made because a bolt is broken off in the hole? Why can't you remove it? You have separate plates. Why can't you unscrew all of the other bolts, and then take it apart one piece at a time, or use an easy-out to remove the broken bolt?

    :lol::thumb:

    LOL I'm soooo glad you guys didn't pick up on the fact I said I failed & instead commented how it was good lmao it somehow made me stick with it to make it work was on the edge of giving in & using a standard pci piece lol :D.

    Hehe sorted :thumb:.

    I was premature about calling it a failure :rock:.

    It was ridiculas to ditch it I know but I was getting a bit frustrated with it so was right on the tip of ditching it, sorted it though :thumb:.

    So here's what I done.

    I did the rest of the bolts to hold the plates together & the failed 1 I ignored & did a new bolt very close to it, had to grind the bolt down so it was correct length, then started on the mounting holes for attaching the piece to the mobo tray & back panel, used wd-40 on all the drilling, tapping & then put helicoils in all the mounting holes, I left the expansion card holes alone as I'm thinking of making a clamp piece that holds all cards in place.

    So I'm going to use body filler to cover all the countersunk bolt heads & to hide the failed hole & for getting the mounting holes aligned to the mobo panel & back panel I'll use my tried & tested cotton bud stick with a blob of paint on method lol it works perfectly so why not :D.

    Ok, remind me again why there's not a layer of acrylic in the PCI bracket? Would look cool when lit up by LEDs.

    Had another moment today where if I'd have stayed over there I'd have gone mad & used the standard piece :lol: so quickly came back into the warmth where I think best :D.

    :D:thumb:

    Ah they recovered & gone back to normal now :D, my right hand felt 1.2 times normal size & probably were :lol: thanks Alex :thumb:.

    I know I know, they weren't supposed to be a stack of alu plates but I was careless when working on the acrylic pieces & I mucked them up but had enough spare sheet alu soo there it is :D (looking for a shoulder shrug emoticon :hehe::p).

    :hehe: Thanks KidMod :thumb:.

    :hehe::D.

    Ugh it's 1 of those days where I'm trying to do something but getting nowhere & just over thinking & was even considering going with a regular pci piece again so came back into the warmth to get my scatterbrain together lol :).

    My good old method of using cotton bud tips wasn't possible (cotton bud sticks were too thick for the holes), that method was only good for rivets or fan holes so instead I put bolts in the mounting holes, filled the sockets up with paint & then pressed it against the mobo tray so it was perfectly to the edge & it worked perfect, but I found I'll need to do that for the back panel first as there is a tiny gap so yeah that means I have 3 unwanted holes but luckily they are hidden behind an angle bar :D:p.

    So time to rest, then go at it again tomorrow but with clear intentions :).

    Definitely, thanks KidMod :thumb:.

    It does look ridiculously huge :hehe: but once you see the motherboard & fans & PSU in there it'll look quite different :rock: or at least I'm expecting it to :lol: thanks Razer :thumb:.
