    New Update

    The sanding is nearly completed.

There has been some cahnges already, as original, i aws goin to use a simple drive bay cover, and not have it blended in etc.

But i have changed my mind as now i have spring loaded, blended in cover, just the blended spring loaded section to be sanded.

Also the stopper has been applied, to fill in th pinholes left by the filler. (brown stuff on top of filler)

Two coats of primer, tpp coat not sanded in photos :naughty:

Before, the drive bay cover, with stopper!!!

Very nice. From looking at the first pictures I could tell that you have done work on installing car audio components. I like it.

New ideas, chassis, paintjiob and final sanding of the cuved top panel

Its been a long time since my last update due to work, but the project is all go again now!!

With the addition of a new larger cahssis, the top panel no longer fitted, noty that it did on the first chassis, as it had not transition between side panel, fron and top! Just jagged edges.

With the new case i have fibregalssed the top panle onto the existing top panel, meaning there is a continous top panle from front to back. whilst doing this meant that the fornt apnel had to be extended in order for the drive bay to flow into the top panel, this was also built up with filler and fibreglass!!

The panel was the primered, rubbed down, primered, rubbed down, cloour coated, rubbed down again, thicker colour coat, and thats wear we im up to now!!!

the top coat, it automotive paint form Citreon! Metallic blue/green!

New tools purchased aswell, dremel, angle grinder, sander, so more elaborate work coming up!!

    Comments and opinions please.
