Seems to be running fine so I decided to try it attached to the CPU.

OK this might seem odd, I know I should be getting lower temps, but should they be as low as 40ºc less than before.

I was sitting at around 55 - 60ºc on my heatsink/fan but its now showing 20 - 25ºc (it is outside the case at the moment) ???

I tested mine once whole kit, then cut the tubes and tested it all again. Only problem I had is that the cuts on the tubes have to be really flat to make a good seal. So its worth taking your time on the cuts and not rushing it (wonder what I did :D )

Decided to do a test run with the w/c in the case.

It was actually easier than I thought to fit everything in.

Ive had it running for a couple of hours now in the case and all seems fine.

But some moddage gona be required, looks like I might be busy this weekend.

Going to have to dremil away the front for an air intake for the radiator
    [IMG]

Now that I dont have the noise from the heatsink fan, I can hear the tiny whiney fan on my graphics card, think I might be buying the GPU waterblock for that.

Such a difference already in noise, woohoo

And it runs and looks cooler

    All looks good man!
What kind of temps you running???
The GPU block aint ment to be that bad for the VapoChill, in about the same range as the CPU block.

Temps are way down, where I was getting a displayed temp of 65ºc its now under 30ºc. thats a pretty good drop.

But I'm just as happy with the noise reduction. :D

[edit] should have said thats with the rad fan at 7v and no case fans. Just on general surfing, playing CS it goes up about 5ºc.

    Just ordered this up.

Waterchill VGA waterblock, just runs in line with the CPU waterblock.

Reduce some noise from the GPU fan.

With adding the watercooling I've had to rethink airflow.
As I have the radiator at the front I need a good supply of cooler air coming in, my original front panel just wont cut it, so I needed to mod it.

I was looking around and when I spoted a hi-fi speaker I thought the mesh would be perfect, so heres what it looks like.

Are there fan holes in that?
    If not, add some.
    If so, SWEET

Its a fabric mesh removed from a hi-fi speaker.

This is the air intake hole.

The ends of the mesh is stuck between 2 sheets of plexi.

I think the fabric looks really good, contrast in colour as well as texture. I think it may get a lot of dust n crap sucked into it though, so maybe a vacuum every now and then will be needed!

    Great idea, and wel executed!

Best would be to have your reservoir at the highest point of the water circuit to ensure it traps bubles; I would put it where the upper back fan holder is; you can even put it outside there so you can check water and fill without opening your case.
