depends on whos hand the dremel is in. All I have to say is practice with the dremel and you wont be saying that again. For that bullet hole, there is too much fracture going on. I thought it was a snowflake when i first looked at it. Defenatly a great job for a first try, just next one go alittle lighter on the lines out of hte hole. JEEVES

Paint Update Well I have sanded and painted my case. It took 3 houres to sand it. I needed to sand al the sharp egeds of the places where I cutted the Quake logo and RED. Well enough talking now here are the pic's BTW It's just a spraycan that costs 2.50$ Here is a little closeup of the texture of the paint, its a really cool paint. Well thats it for now. When the paint is dry and the weather is dry then I will spray on the side Quake, and the Q will be the Quake logo
whoah, what type of paint is that????that looks pretty freaking awesome! EDIT: bah, ill read the thread, fine! now, does it hurt when you press on it or crumble wehn you rub it?
HOLY SHMOLIGANS thats some wierdo paint! nice paint job, too. Its not my color perhaps, but very cool and interesting.
Well, the paint is dry and gues what, it feels soo cool but it doesnt krumble when you thouch it. Well next job on the list is to spray Quake on the side. Keeping you up to date
no as he said the paint dries very hard and it does not hurt to touch becase it is like little "balls" but to run your finger over it feels very cool, my brother painted his lamps with that kind of paint, looks and feels really cool
Little Update Well, I had to work on the case today because this is the last day of my holliday . But it was a nice holliday so a shouldn't complain. I painted the side of the case todat, it's not perfect but I am happy with it though. Well enough talking here are some pic's The mask I printed out. The black pices needs to be cutted out The mask is cutted out and placed on the case. (You would think that my parrents wants to buy a new house, lookt at te papers that are on the case ) I sprayed the paint on the case. The mask has been removed and I am happy how it turned out. Well that's it for now. Next thing to do is going with a solder iron around the eges where stuf has been cutted out.
wow!!! i am impressed for a 1st mod i can only hope that my 1st mod will look half as good as that. great job
BLA. I was gone for a while (again). But I am back but it's gona take a while before I can do what I REALY want to do and that is go around the eges from what I have cutted out ans go around it with a soldering iron. But my granpa has that soldering iron and he is in the hospital so that has to wait. But now I have to have a opinion of you guy's. Is it possible for a starting modder to make a AT case to a ATX? please respond.
looks really nice gizmo! I love the texture of the paint, and the top pannel, and the ride logos! great job! when are you going to make a computer for your self then? Looking forward to it
I'm not sure if I am going to make a case for myself. I already have a sweet case. It's silver painted. Bought it that way and i gonna keep it that way . May case is a few years old. It was one of the first case's you could buy in a different collour than white and without a lame old round power button. Mabey I send some pic's today of it. About this case, I think I'm gonna make it AT to ATX if I could do that. Do you guy's think a biginner modder can do that?
Well guy's I have come to a very bad conclusion. The case is way to little to make it a ATX . So I think I am not going to do allot on the case. Maybe I am going to make a new one but that would be a ATX!!! Any sugestions. Maybe I am gona make it the same as this case so my dad can really use it
