Im waiting for the Gert board to come out. This does require more power obviously but does also mean more options and toys. plus a slightly bigger box
IIRC the R-Pi guys really dont recommend overclocking these SoC's since, something to the effect of "it wont last long" the ARM SoC their using isnt much designed for it. also the RAM is done PoP and on top of the SoC so that will absorb any heat before a HSF does. IIRC the OC issue isnt heat removal but component degradation
Jake just google it and loads pops up. They are expansion boards with various things on. I can't find the page right now as it is silly o'clock and I am tired. I will take a look in the morning if I remember, I don't know if there are any planned development timescales though as yet.
Was reading the suggestions about plexiglass and the early one about a wooden box and thought : "Steampunk" Maybe a wooden box with a stained glass top - the logo in the stained glass could be a raspberry ?
I know it is a bit later than morning... Gert board Sorry if my post sounded arsey, it wasn't meant to. I had just been rudely awoken at 2.45am by little people. and had to stay up till I knew I would be woken up again, if that makes sense.
Its no problem Dancing Bear ^.^ I didn't find it rude at all, thanks for the link though : ) I have been thinking about the coloured plexiglass on top though, I'll keep you all updated (Y)
