I've been wearing a Constantin Weisz Automatic watch every single day for the past year. I only paid £30 for it from a friend brand new. Problem is the bright yellow dial accents which I'm really not a huge fan of... Following recommendation, I bought a few cheap and cheerful Pagani Design watches from Aliexpress. They're okay for £40-£50... bog standard homages of acceptable quality. Digging deeper I found other cool watches at varying price ranges. It's just so hard to get a true representation of something from stock photos. Therefore, I'm looking for some recommendations on some watches or brands to check out. Not necessarily Aliexpress but anything sub £500 ideally. My watch preferences are as follows: Stainless Steel Cases, but don't mind a subtle two tone at a push. 40mm case size minimum arguably even 40mm feels a bit small, I like something on the slightly chunkier side. Open to most styles but commonly wear more casual Chronograph or Dive watches. I am however getting married next year so separately looking out for an interesting dress watch for the day! Bracelet or rubber straps preferred over anything leather. I'm looking for things that are just a bit different and not your typical homage (Pagani have that covered) Some of the (Ali) brands I've been looking at include San Martin, OBLVLO, Bonnest Gatti and AESOP
