No one has the Lian-Li desk :D
I can't imagine the shipping cost

    You call your postal office:
"Hello, I wonder how much it would cost to ship a DESK via mail?"

The Lian Li desk is a sweet idea, but £3K for a desk? No thanks.

Out of ally? I'm guessing a lot of welding would be involved, which is very difficult to do properly for someone inexpereienced.

You can but it's not easy and requires a high current if I remember right.

you connect your server with wireless? Lunacy... I hate using a mere 100mbit network on mine.

Server is wireless? Try GAMING on wireless. Yeah...I know. g/f got the PC nook, I get the desk... It's ok - I sneak my ethernet cable into her nook when she's not looking.

    Wait. What?

Sureley you must be able to lay down some cat 5? You could even use those nifty homeplug thingies. 200mbit over the powergrid...

By Using the word niffty to describe homeplugs I assume you've never tried to actually used them, In my expereice of putting them in as a last resort when someone decided to spend £1 000 000 on an new appartment that no one thought to cable for network or A/V. it's probably 50/50 if you even get a signal and when you do they work fine for a few days or even weeks but most seam to either die completely or just stop connecting after a while.

Cat 5 beats all alternatives hands down in my book...
