    Why would you quote Moore's law is dead? He's one of the most useless sources ever. Only correct every now and then because he uses a scatter-shot approach to his rumours.


    Anyway, what Microsoft will do with Windows is probably more of "let's move this from the age-old known location somewhere random, remove functionality, remove user control, add social features nobody asked for, make it always-online, try once again to push for new software installations only via the worst software store ever created, and call it progress".

    I'd say perplekks nailed it, but they have managed to outdo themselves with screwing things up before. Mandatory personal info registration? -Nah, they tried that once...
    Perhaps the entire OS will run in Edge. :worried:
