Probably the wrong forum. I can deny the fact I'm going to need to spend money on this all I want, but I need a replacement now one side is completely shot so I might as well buy something decent. Tried a £8 one from china but it fell apart in a week The replacement from shure is a little more than I can justify as a luxury purchase at £45. Anybody know of anything in the UK that's reliable? Or recommend any of the following http://www.amazon.co.uk/FiiO-RC-SE1...=1419716756&sr=8-2&keywords=shure+se215+cable http://www.amazon.co.uk/CrownTrade®...=1419716770&sr=8-5&keywords=shure+se215+cable
The official replacements seem to be a lot cheaper from the States/Canada. http://www.amazon.com/Shure-EAC64CL-Detachable-Earphone-Earphones/dp/B0046HADYG Even accounting for import taxes and postage it may work out cheaper if you aren't in a rush. That said, be careful about getting stung for ridiculous handing fees on top of taxes. Often Amazon/Ebay will have some sort of pre-payment system that avoids this.
