I had a cosmos pure standing around in a corner and thought hmmm i need a htpc for my home theatre room but it looks kinda ordinary. And so i started cutting the crap out of it. I just found some skulls and cut them out of the sidepanels then mounted a brushed aluminum plate and superglued the parts onto it.

The front was ever so lightly engraved to give a ghosted effect. The skulls are almost invisible until the light hits the front just right and then they pop out :)

On the Cosmos case theres a rubber plate on the top. This was removed and glued on to a aluminum plate then i used a knive to cut out a skull from the rubber.

This was a small fast 1 day mod but i think that it turned out quite nice. Cutting the images from the panel instead of just engraving them really was a pain in the neck but it does give a very nice 3d feel to it.

I think you should get in touch with the guys at mnpctech or something, and make some fangrills, windows, etc with your designs ;)
