    The big nuclear gun thingy (Novalith Prototype) is your end-game weapon. Set it to auto, and it'll bombard the crap out of enemy planets from a long way away, meaning all you have to do is mop up any forces around the planet.

    patch v1.4 is out now, more AI improvements (it was good anyway). I love this game solo, 6 player FFA in a 1star 60 planet :)
