    sounds like you need a rotax 2 stroke. A 912 would do you - 160hp @ 6800rpm (cost a huage amount!), or something more common, i.e. 503 (50hp) what sort of plane are you looking at? (microlight, biplane, piper, etc)
    I've got a 447 on my hovercraft, with a reduction gearbox to do about 3000rpm for the prop.
