Sin and Punishment 2 for the Wii. Incredible on rails shooter that gets the motion controls utterly spot-on. It's a joy to play and it's never frustrating because of controls; it's honest, old fashioned shooter difficult. There aren't lots of levels, but each one is an epic experience in its own right; kind of like Ikaruga.

Recommended for the shooter, fps or Bullet hell fan.

Also; Xenoblade Chronicles. Epic RPG that holds its own against the Final fantasy's and Star Oceans of the other consoles. The graphics are quite pretty for the Wii, especially where how the Wii U upscales it slightly. Gameplay is fantastic with a well though out, quirky and accessible battle system. English voice acting is crap, but you have the option to put it in japanese with english subs for that authenticity. It's already more fun and enthralling than the last couple of Final fantasy games. It does go back to basics for an RPG game of this time, but it's a welcome addition and it gets the formula just right. They didn't force motion control on it either, they knew it wouldn't work and left it out.

Trackmania Nations Forever. I haven't played this in ages. I fired it up last night and my heart rate was going crazy. It felt like my fingers were pushing through my keyboard, I was so tense. There is no greater feeling than doing a long race and coming from behind to beat the gold medal by 0.01 seconds. Crazy...

Just started playing Battle Bad Company 2 Vietnam again. So damn addictive and way better than the modern BF games in so many ways. Currently Level 34 and would love to get to 50 :D

You played Crysis 2 BEFORE the original?! :jawdrop: You won't appreciate why 2 (and 3 for that matter) were letdowns. I will agree that gameplay wise 2 and 3 were fun.

As for me, I'm playing Galaxy on Fire 2 Full HD (the 4K monitor is still in RMA so I'm on my laptop). Actually quite fun - a Freelancer rip-off, which isn't a bad thing. I quite like the travelling method which is a hark back to the days of Privateer. So far I'm mining to earn the biggest and best thing I can.

Replaying mate replaying. + I have a better rig now than when I played Crysis for the first time so it looks so much better now and compares very favourably with today's games.

Can't say as I'm playing much. I'm finding it difficult in this heat to enjoy gaming, as my pc kicks out all kinds of hot when under load. Playing worms a fair bit as that doesn't make everything spool up to maximum lol

Fair enough! I was trying to play through Crysis 3 again to grab some screenshots but I can't bring myself to do it as I just don't enjoy the story.

Please, for the love of God turn of the HUD and enable the double tap controls for the suit modes. It makes it SO much more immersive. And yeah, Crysis and Warhead still kick ass and are damn fun to play.

Lol. I've been out of the UK for about a year and a half. I play games, but not nearly as much as I used to. I can't do multiplayer though, as our connection is really bad.

I would kill to play that again. I'm still on level 47 from like 4 years ago. One day when I have a good ping I will get to 50.

We don't need that kind of negativity here! Get out! I really hope you meant replaying. :worried:

Really it is welcome back to a place that does not have animals, snakes and other beasts that are trying to eat you.

Similar places both have animals, snakes and other beasts that are trying to eat you. And in Scotland you can add people to that list.
