Our recycling has to be put in recycling bags, they're made from the kind of course woven plastic that is used for big sacks of sand and stone. Just had to get some new ones as the previous ones wandered off. Any recommendations for the kind of paint I could use effectively on them?

Was thinking of getting some Oregon forestry paint used for marking trees. Not sure if some type of dye, preferably not a pen as I want the numbers nice and large (from a stencil). Preferably in orange or white as the bags are blue and green and should stand out.

    Thanks!

Edit: Would this edding acrylic spray work?

I used red Smoothrite left over from another job, to paint numbers on our bag and box. It’s good enough.

Thanks all. I'd used permanent marker on the previous set which worked well enough, but ball ache colouring in and wanted something a bit bigger and more obvious this time. Had considered stitching some on, but too lazy. Got some free road marking paint making it's way to me from my brother in law to try, will report back on success.

I've not used Rustoleum but it would have been my recommendation, I've seen many people use it with decent results. Not that I think anything will be amazing on such a bag but it's likely your best bet?
