Thank god there are people like Chris Roberts in this world! The message is loud and clear - there is millions of pounds of money to be made from the PC market - you just have to give us games that are made for our system and not dumbed down console ports.

Between this, Battlefield 3 and Planetary Annihilation, we are very very lucky to be proud PC gamers!

The pledging certainly exploded in the last week I wish I had some extra money to spend to jump to a higher pledge, give these good people some more money to make this game the greatest ever

I just got some money today, which I did not expect. However, with bills to pay and my house being invaded by a load of ZiiP members in 2 weeks and the need to buy food and beer, they shall take priority over this and I will buy on release. At least they made their targets (and then some!).

 

Only problem with that is:
I have the 3 Ship Killers... The Constellation, The Drake, and a Vanduul Fighter.

You could just buy the cheapest tier now (think its $10) - that would allow you to upgrade later when you have some money.

Round table, everyone has a vote, but given your armada of ships I'm sure you'll be able to handle most of the military stuff with ease!

I think that is the idea! If we reach $6m today, no reason why they wouldn't keep it open to further fund development.

Just noticed that at 15:30 we broke 5.8mil, and 15 minutes later added 30k.
