This one looks really interesting. I love all space themed games. It's also going to be on PC (which is great for me)
I'm looking forward to this, though I fear it will end up in my ever growing list of things I need to play.
I hope it turns out to be something good, but that trailer is a whole lot of nothing much. Colour me underwhelmed.
That's actually the 2018 trailer. This is the new one: And if you pause at 1:17, you'll notice a small drawing on the near side of the cockpit console that looks a lot like a map of the provinces of High Rock & Hammerfell from The Elder Scrolls (VI?)
Looking forward to this, may be needing some new hardware though.... Not sure in my increasingly aged 980 Ti will manage all this...
Yeah looking forward to this now although, in reality, it probably won't work correctly until after the modding community have got their hands on it.
That moving cursor at 11:14 reminds me of Freelancer. A brilliant keyboard + mouse control scheme no other spacecraft game have managed to rival since. Looking to have good potential so far. Yes, modding community should be able to mould it into something even more amazing.
I'm gonna be honest, that was a bit of a big "MEH" from me. Sure it looks flashy and impressive, but... it's not really blowing my frock up. And I groaned loudly at the mention of crafting systems and base building.
Never been too fussed with base building, always done the absolute bare minimum in things like FO4 and NMS, but the ship and weapon building is something that I am looking forward to, especially the ship stuff.
I was much the same until FO4 Sims Settlement mod. Mind you they added missions and all sorts to it. But yeah, ship building though, yes please.
I ****ing miss great narrative driven games. Open world just equates to being too lazy to write a story in my opinion.
It looks a lot more NMS now than I expected. Day 1 on GamePass means I'll at least spend some time in the character creator. I've never really liked any Bethesda games though...
It's a Bethesda RPG, it'll release... and then 12+ month later an actual game will emerge when modders finish/fix it... 'There's nothing to do, so lets hide/disguise it behind spreading it over a mahoosive map' was my feeling playing Oblivion and Skyrim...
it looks interesting, I'm a sucker for that ship customisation. what concerned me was the mention of '1000 different planets' I just don't see it being possible to give the density of world we've come to expect from bethesda / obsidian open world games across 1000 different planets resulting in largely barren planets.
