Back home - and hope to have a crack at this tomorrow for you! Only snag is it'll be blue PLA as I haven't the mobility to change filament at the mo. Is that a problem?

Anyone fancy giving it a go?

Not the one in the picture - the three simpler parts that will screw together.

Just let me know how much. :)

I'm going to play 3D printing tomorrow I think. Will try crazy's part first, then might have a crack at something else?

Just fitted my brand new all metal Mk10 hot end.

Not sure it makes much difference with the PLA I am currently printing with but should improve longevity when I move up to ABS.

For bed adhesion, with PLA anyway, I print straight onto glass.

I also use a liberal amount of cheap super drug branded Ultra hold hair spray.

    Never had a single issue.

First layer temp 70 the rest 60/65 cannot remember as its a setting I haven't changed for months.

Filament temp 205 first layer 85% speed then 195 100% for the rest

    Hi veryevil,

Yes, that one and the two smaller pieces. They screw together to create the complete bracket.

I'm really sorry mate - hardly able to move around the house still, let alone fire up the 3D printer [emoji20]

After not getting the chance for a couple of weeks. The kids and I have finally started the assembly of my/our Prusa i3 MK2. Bought it before the reviews were in - I think I made the right choice :)

45 minutes in and half a bag of bits down, at this rate we'll be lucky to be complete before Christmas.

I don't know if veryevil has had a go at it - didn't want to pester for something that's essentially a favour, regardless of my willingness to pay for it, but we haven't communicated beyond what's been mentioned in this thread.
