Gamepads with the cable on the wrong side, like the dreamcast gamepad.
Is there anything mechanical on the Clio that isn't a complete pita to replace?
It's not that bad in some areas, in others it's terrible. Modern compact euro cars are notorious for this, the engine bay is very cramped as are the rest of the mechanical compartments, but that allows the passenger compartment and boot to feel and be much bigger than previous generations. It won't bother me any longer anyway, well not for a while at least*... The Clio is gone.
*Until I inevitably buy a MK3 GT 106 or even 200 Cup. Maybe.
How come nearly all phone plug chargers have the USB port at the bottom instead of the top?
Every electronic device without wireless charging as standard.
The official nexus 7 2013 case which doesn't allow me to use my wireless charger. Infuriating.
I guess that phones are soooo packed with stuff and the PCB is so tiny compared to screen and battery size that their're not much options left.
While I agree that wireless charging as its advantage, it also has several drawbacks that I can't forgive:
Inefficient charging process, wasted energy
Takes longer to charge
You can't remove the device from the charging stand while charging, else it won't charge
Wireless charging in it's current form is pretty silly^, agreed. Is it really so hard/inconvenient to place a phone on a charging cradle/dock, or plug in a lead- a lead that still allows you to use the phone ( pick it up & move it around within a few meters of the plug socket ) unlike the wireless charger?
Not that I own a smart phone, but, yeah....
I think he missunderstood ( phone usb socket vs charger usb socket ).
Maybe better to have it pointing down, so that the usb socket doesn't doesn't fill up with dust and crap, and so that the phone can be placed on the floor below the charger. I see your point though- if you have the phone/dock on a table, then the wire ideally should be pointing straight upwards, not down then up...
Exactly that, I though he was talking about the connector on the phone side
Well, every phone charger I've ever owned has faced up or outwards so...
