Hi, whilst I eagerly await all my new hardware i have nothing do... Im on a celron 2.8ghz computer with less than a gig of ram! Please help me defeat boredom and tell me some games i can play to keep me amused! Thanks Maxii
Minesweeper is always good a game. Ok seriously, you have: - Flash web games - SimCity 3000 - StarCraft 1 - WarCraft 1, 2.. maybe 3 - Worms Armageddon (amazing multi-player game... I still actually play it with my brothers!) - The Sims - Need For Speed 1, 2, 3, (maybe 4 depending if you have a dedicated GPU or integrated) Of course you can always play games on your gaming console.
diablo II make sure you get the expansion pack!!! age of empires II comand and conquer series specifically renagade and red alert II need for speed road challenge maybe GTA 3 will that work or is that pushing it to much? but you still have GTA 1 and 2 perhaps halo 1
Any C&C game before Generals, especially Red Alert 2 NFS 4 will work on integrated graphics, managed to get it working smoothly on a bog standard netbook! Might even get Hot Pursuit 2 and Porsche Unleashed working... Black & White World of Goo Unreal Tournament 2004 (depends on graphics, may struggle) Unreal Tournament (Original; will run on pretty much anything, netbook did) Counter Strike 1.6 Counter Strike: Source (Possibly if you stick to basic texture maps, though after the recent update you may have problems) Civilisation 3 Chris Sawyer's Locomotion
Eeh, I can't speak for the others, but I have NOLF, Deus Ex and OpenTTD running on an MSI Wind (Advent 4211) with its underclocked version of the GMA950.
I can vouch for this, I've got an MSI Wind too. One thing to bear in mind though is the resolution they're being played at. 1024x600 isn't very high though desktop components vs. mobile components should make up for this shortfall. You can add Quake 3 to the growing list as well.
