WOW I like how this thing looks The only part I hate about it is that it's Micro Tower... Just don't like them... ))) But I still like the outcome though

 

Men have a sanctuary at Michaels. The plastic model kit aisle, but Michael is Evil. He deliberately marks up the prices on these kits to torture us. You can only stand there hoping your wife doesn't get swept up into a "craft attack" vortex and forget about you.

When you finally get the OK to leave, there is 20 customers and 2 cashiers. Your heart sinks, you remember that Crafters buy in bulk. The Cashiers count every item before hitting their multiplier. *sigh

Ok, lets see what you have... 25x various floral stems, 35x Xmas stencils, "Oh, those are nice!" 8x bottles of sparkly glitter, "Oh, I like the Martha Stewart brand" 16x orange and black pipe cleaners, "Whatcha doing with these?" 15x thanksgiving theme stamps, "Ohh, these are wonderful" 200x various beads for Brownies troop, "Oh, this will be fun!" 5x paper punches.... (better stop before you think I buy this stuff)

Worst of all, our Cashier was in training! I think her name was "Hunt & Peck"

@Bill - You didn't get stuck behind exact change lady? I'm shocked. Our local hobby shops don't even try to stock plastic model gear anymore. -Just some low-quality child-skill models.

 

She was behind us, thankfully!

If you're ever up here, remind me to bring you to Hub Hobby. Living in the frozen tundra makes model building, R/C, slot racing or model railroading almost MANdatory. If Hub Hobby doesn't have it, then it's not being made. They even got re-issued model car kits from the 60s! I wish I would have remembered to bring E.E.L. there!

 

He doesn't use tissues. How do you think his wall of flesh was built?
