Nexxo, what's the bar at the very top? More samurize?

Edit: arki, I'd love a link to that background.

Pretty sure the bar at the top is the Yahoo! Widgets RSS reader...I had it for a while myself but didn't use it much.

    Yup.

I'll probably upload it to the Samurize website and give you the link. It is a work in progress. It also assumes that you have 10 partitions. :p If you are a bit handy with Paint.net and the Samurize editor you can easily adapt it however.

The Miranda IM skin is called "ModernClear".

The bar at the very top is a Yahoo Widget called "Informer" with a RSS Reader widget superimposed.

Thanks Nexxo. I don't have 10 partitions but I'm sure I can edit it to fit my needs somehow.

They call it "samurize". You design your info screen the way you like ( same photoshop etc. ) and you use it. But I don't know how they make it run on the small lcds :D with usb or tv out. I don't have a clue sorry.

the screen is a generic (Sharp?) 5" TFT screen that runs on 12V off a molex, and takes an S-Video (NTSC) signal from the graphic card. On Display Properties in Windows it is recognised as a secondary monitor, set to 640 x 480 resolution. Tick the box: "Extend the desktop to this monitor". It then shows up on the Samurize config editor as a bit of extra desktop also.

Design your config in this area, set the whole project to "pin to desktop" and "lock position" and there you are.

To get all the data on CPU temperatures etc., Samurize works together with Speedfan which passes its sensor data on to Samurize to process (it can perform simple mathematical equations on it if you want) and display.

The coolant flow is measured by a flow sensor hooked to an RPM sensing motherboard fan connector, which simply sees it as another fan. Speedfan passes this "fan" RPM data on to Samurize which divides it by the correct number to translate it back to litres per minute before displaying it.

Samurize is really easy to configure. It is mostly click and drag wysiwyg editing. It has been around for a long time but I was the first person to ever use it on a small 5" screen in a computer bezel (before they were used for Winamp visualisations etc.). I can't understand why nobody ever thought of it before!
