As a last little detail, I added a number to the sides of the outer shell.

To finish up the paint job, I applied multiple layers of brown and black wash
to get rid of the sine and add a little more weathering. After a layer of matte clear coat
the colors were all nicely drawn together. I also attached the bumper and rear lights.

Then I attached the wing in the back.

And lastly both sections were put together.

Now I only need to find some time to make pictures.
Hopefully it will not take too long.

Looking great. :D The added human for scale made me realize your vacuum canister is huge. BIG wingnuts.

Its actually a pressure chamber. For some projects I already wished I had a larger one. :D

    NO!
I mean, take a second to think how absurdly huge they are.

Sweet build, loving the attention to detail and all the casting, awesome paint job too :thumb:

Noticed your using CA glue there. Have you heard of this stuff, it sets the glue quicker and more evenly, you can also just pour the glue into a crack/hole, then spray the activator over the top and it sets almost instantly even though the glue isn't being pressed between surfaces:

Thanks mate! I am using activators for quite a while already. You can also use baking soda to make CA glue kick faster. It also gives a little more material, which is nice if you want to strengthen
a bond from the inside a little more.

I use baking soda on my prints for just that reason.
