Once you've got past the bt7 the a20's pretty much a repeat. But it gets put in high tier battle fairly regularly and a single spot + arty 1,000 damage hit will easily net you 500xp in those battles.

If You don't get picked off trying to pass their advancing tanks....

A20 top tip - do the usual screaming along at 1000kph thing, but not as far as their advancing tanks. Find a bush, fit a camo net. Watch them as they drive by, let your TDs/arty shoot them.

Thank you for the tips chaps. So what your saying is play it more like a driving game than a tanks game! :)

With an A20 you've got to remember that your not a high armour tank, your a speed and manuverability tank. Trick is to be the eyes at the front and as they said leave the rest of the arty. Once you reach your big tanks you'll understand why you need that little one.

Good find, props for that one mate! I do like the sound of the combined clan warfare and the merged accounts - awesome!

Oddly enough, I thought of this as soon as I saw your comment! :D

After dallying with a Panther II for a few days (it's a total POS BTW), I've now gone back to the Soviet medium tree and unlocked the T-44.

So far so good; it seems a much better balanced tank than the Panther 2.

The Panther and Panther II could do with bumping down another tier really - the Panther II particularly is barely a match for a T-44 in most cases, thanks to its hilariously easy-to-hit shape.

The issue is that people perceive the panthers as mediums, they're not. Really they're lightly armored heavies with accurate guns. Best played as support, not brawlers.

I hear what you're saying Xen, but I think the biggest problem with the Panther II, pun intended is that it's got such a huge silhouette its too tempting a target for most opponents.

That of course though is a historial problem though, not a WoT problem, and a consequence of the Nazi's mad love affair with ridiculously oversized inpractical tanks.

That happens alot in game though. If your a scary looking tank, i.e. the biggest one on the map people see you as a target.

I see what you say Lizard, but if you shoot from a hull down position 200M from behind where you'd normally snipe from, you're not a big target :).

The P2 isn't scary looking though - it's just big, slow and ungainly. In game terms it should be moved onto the heavy tree really and the German tree given a proper medium tank (i.e. a fast, compact, dogfighter)

True, but if you're going to do that I'd rather sit 400m back in my Ferdi which has 200mm frontal armour :)
