Wearing any t-shirt I own... *sigh*

Not being able to tolerate any mainstream media because of all the macro blocking and blown highlights they let air (not to mention what they're covering, but that doesn't make me feel nerdy, just intelligent)

Having at one point known the exact number of pixels I owned. That was a crazy-big number... something like 11 million.

Mentally reverse-engineering absolutely everything. And, more often than not, improving upon their techniques in something I do. Just can't leave well enough alone...

Unpacking after the move and realizing that everything I own has batteries or a cord.

Coding in my spare time. For fun. When I could be out doing something with people.

    Ugh, this thread is depressing.

    Having dual monitor.
Having cold cathodes in my case which has a window on it.

I know that's not really any big deal, but when your average geezer walks in here they get all confused about how you have 2 screens...

Reading my current calculator's manual cover to cover (again) so I can properly compare it with my new graphing calculator that should be arriving soon.

Wondering why Brooxy has quoted his 1.6GiB hard drive in Gigabits.

Heh, I went to change it, and it wouldn't let me.

    So I edited my post.

People who don't know the Enterprise (D) serial off by heart have no place in geek culture.
And Archer as best captain? You've got to be ****ing me around, Picard is clearly the best.

Hard drives are meant to be quoted in gigabits...

Picard best captain? The man that gave up all the Federation secrets to the Borg and allowed them to wipeout most of the fleet?
Give me Sisko any day. This guys got the balls to get the Job done. Not only does he perform well on away missions, but he took out more than his fair share of Dominion targets with the Defiant. Picard is a pencil pushing peanut head.:D

Network transfer is rated in gigabits. Hardrives are measured in Gibibytes.

    ^^ That sentence.

They should be measured in bytes with whatever base-2 prefix is necessary (Gibibytes, Exbibytes, etc.).

Picard and Janeway are the two best captains! Besides, there's just something about Picard saying, "Make it so," that is way too sexy. I'd have his geek babies... aw heck, I'd have Janeway's babies too.
