Only the PSU will be in the bottom. The DVD drive will be at the top where the PSU usually goes, and the HD will go near the motherboard.
    ********************************************************

I pulled out the drive bays from the old case

    And shortened it to fit

    Then put it in.

I'm going to hinge the left panel, but first I made it blue

I'll also be shortening the plexi panel too

I put the hinge on the side.

Here's roughly where [on top] the pwr button will go.

Next comes this shelf I never got around to using :D

Now on to the plexi. The thin plexi I had cracked, so now I'm using the thicker stuff. For perfect holes, use a HOLE SAW.

    See.

    Then cut to size

    Here's what to later expect.

I like this very much. Really nice with the blue shelf. But I wonder, Why this tall design? Will it fit better in your computer area? Pics would be great. Keep up the good work, man!:D

    Compliments on construction

Very nice case! It’s quite the culmination of creativity and carefully constructed complimentary cuts.

You'll get to know my work soon enough. Only half of the PC's I build ever get used. When it's done and all pics of the inyards are taken, I will disassemble it and the case will remain empty like so many others. :thumb:

I cut out the hole for the PSU.

And painted the bays blue to match

Maybe he was looking at the pictures and none of your text...
Or it was a very lame attempt at a joke.

Regardless, keep up the great work!

    I drew out the bottom

    The carved it

    And bent it into place

    Then riveted it on.

I also finished the intake fans.

    I painted the CD drive

    And mounted the PSU

Then worked on the top bay where the HD will go. I'm using this old frame from my Matrix Orbital now in R2D2, so you'll be able to look in at the HD.

The CD drive is just for show; when you see the final product you'll know where th CD drive is, but that's it. The drive itself is from 1996 and I don't even know if it works.

I thought that the glass was too clear, so I added a light coat of blue. Now you can still see inside.
