This was exactly me too. Bloody swinging doohickeys and blasting hoohas.

And of course I'll be picking up the second game.

Totally getting this :thumb: loved the first one which I bought not expecting a lot from but wow, was an awesome game & has been 1 of my most played games :).

£12 is brilliant too for such an enjoyable game which could appeal to anyone who likes to game, should help it's sales, clever enjoyable & mint looking game & nice price = well deserved profit :D.

Has the combat during boss battles been improved? I remember simply running at most of them with my warrior's shield up, swing away a few times and then repeating.

loved the last level on the original.. we need more games like that

had a friend who couldn't beat it too.. think he started it over on easy just to beat it xD

really wasn't that hard considering arcade games back in the day.. just consolebaters are everywhere

would play this- but still playing bethesdas time eater

Yeah it has, although they have improved everything really. I didn't realise the first one was successful enough but obviously it was! \o/

I've played the first two levels now and oh my word is it beautiful. The best visuals of any game I've seen yet; simply due to some gorgeous art direction and use of colour and lighting.

Combined with the fantastic music and gameplay that expands on the first game's already fun mechanics and this one is a winner.
At this point I'd find it very difficult to disagree with anything in the review, even the score. It's not for everybody, but it is an excellent game.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

Between these developers and Amanita Design, I never, ever want them to go out of business. If they could keep making games until I die I would die supremely happy.

Played the Trine 2 demo (it's on steam) not sure I like it, started ok but then I got a bit bored.

Like a previous poster stated it's not for everyone.
