Unfortunately not, I suspect LGA2011 samples are still a way off from what I've heard too :waah:

Still, the Xeon version of Sandy Bridge should be making an appearance soon, which should be great (lots of ppd and very little power consumption).

Yeah going off my 2600k folding on sandybridge chips with 6+ cores should be awesome.

Wonder what Bulldozer will be like. Any ideas? Or are we under NDA?

There's no NDA on Bulldozer yet because it's still a way off too - AMD's more focussed on the low power versions of Fusion for laptops/netbooks/nettops right now.

    I should hit 50k today.

I know it pails by comparison but its a start.

Still haven't got my 470 folding just yet as i am going to order and fit a zalman cooler due to the monsters heat. I did install MSI afterburner and tested the rig with a 75% fan speed and it did drop the temp to 83 degrees. I have read good things about this cooler, so im hoping for high 60's or low 70's with this little upgrade.

She should be then ready for 24/7 folding :)

Gratz to all for holding 6th place!

Congratulations. The small army of modest folders earn the team a lot of points over the years.

I have just been looking at the tail end of the team and have found a challenger for your title of "underdog". Devil_Sergy completed 319 work units for the team in 2007, and never earned any points. All the wu must have been returned after the deadline.

Congratulations to anyone who has any points at all.

My Core i5 2500K (on its own!) has produced more points in the last week than my server and two previous laptops produced in an entire month!! :D
