Hi guys Im trying to upgrade my daughters asus tuf f15 laptop, ive installed 32gb memory and a 1TB wd 770 nvme drive but im trying to install windows 11 but windows cant find the drive, ive put the drive into my pc to initialise and format the drive yet windows still cant find the drive any ideas guys, thanks
Is the m.2 enabled in the bios? Edit: is it an Intel machine? https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1044458
It might be that it needs the Intel Storage Driver installed. https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-ga...download/?model2Name=2021-ASUS-TUF-Gaming-F15 Chipset - click more - Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) Driver Download - extract to a USB stick. Then in the windows installation - when it can't find the drive.. click load driver and point it to the folder on the USB stick.
I mean I did link to the Asus walkthrough of how to install the intel rapid storage driver but, hey, who's keeping track. Lol,glad it's working now
