Time to switch things up again, back to small fromfactor with a modded Meshlicious build The goal of this build is to make a powerfull but quiet system with the help of dual 360mm rads. Thank you SSUPD for reaching out and providing a white version of the Meshlicious for the build! Case modding time Snug it The orginal GPU placement is taken up by rads and fans, there for the GPU needs to be compact. For this build I found a 3070Ti that has PCB length that is the exact same width as both rads but there wasn't a block available for it, but I found out that the EK 3070FE block matched 95% First few manual trims to fit block next to the 8 pins. One problem solved, on to the next On to the final area, the coils next to the 8 pins, for this some new equipment was needed. This made it possible to ''mill'' out area with the Dremel. It close but fits great VRM cooling area needed to be extended nex to filling the hole that was made for the coils. For this some templates were made to cut out the shapes out 2 and 3mm copper strips Solder supplies VRM cooling extending prep Soldering done Look after cleaning it up On to patching the hole in the block Soldering with a lot of tin to make sure it gonna liquid tight after 1 try After cleaning it up, doesnt look the best but will do the job. Moment of truth No leaks after 1h of testing Shaving of a bit of plugs to not hit the PCB Time for a test fit to see if everythings make good contact Final small mods to be sure that the 8 pins are not able to touch the screws Block installed, still need to make a custom shroud to make it a bit better. The base material is the same, both are copper. Heck you can even buy bare copper blocks from EK. Regarding the tin, radiators are copper and brass soldered with tin. All should be good but I think a bit more regular liquid changes will be good.
Great work with the block - but I didn't quite follow - you had to use the dremel to cut a corner out where the gpu card 8 pin connectors are, use some cooper strip to seal the block again... What was the issue with the VRMs? Great work in doing that - a lot of effort to adapt the block to fit!
The VRM is slightly offset from the 3070FE placement. Added a 2mm strip on back of the block to make sure all powerstages are in full contact with thermalpad / block. Same goes for the small sqaure added on the underside.

Frame assembly day Prepping cover for the underside cover to be combined Steel frame + aluminium plate First one wrapped, after this I ran out of wrap yesterday. But next day delivery Cheesecake Once those were done it was time to assemble the orginal frame with the extra extension Extra bracket with panel combs for cable managment Frame asssembeld Extended frame with original outside panel and extra cover panels. The extra panels are hold on with magnets, the color match isn't perfect but there might be a fix for that. Shroud mounted on the modded gpu block
The block looks great. Looking forward to seeing all the tube and cable routing. I don't think I could work in such a small space
Gonna be a fun challange to install it all but all the CAD work should make it a bit easier Armored GPU
Kim used all the words. Great execution. It blends in with it's environment perfectly. Running the plumbing outside makes the stock outside more interesting too. I would have gave you flak for covering part of the I/O, but it's just the stock hdmi. You just know you will need to use that port some day. -That's how my luck with these things run, anyway.
