    Introduction

Vermillion - "is an opaque orangish red pigment". I wasn't really in the market for a Cosmos S until I was confronted about this one. For only $65! I couldn't pass it up, and its great for the internal WCing setup I've been planning. Easy to take to the LANs to. On with the log then. :) No new actual hardware though, same old rig in a new case.

    The case
Picked this bad boy up for only $65

    Plan to replace the acrylic..

    Loop
    Swiftech MCR320-QP
    PrimoChill PrimoFlex Tubing - Black
    EK-MultiOption Res 150
    XSPC pump top
    MCP350 pump
    Kolance CPU340
EK 3/8" ID barbs on everything

Plans(I'm not strictly following this, expect some surprises!)
    • Powdercoat case Semi Gloss Black with Red/Orange(Vermillion!) accents
    • Cut top fan grills
    • Black acrylic with EVGA logo etched covering the toolest 5.25 bays
    • Uni-sleeve PSU black/red/white
    • Replace window acrylic with slightly tinted black
    • Cut cable management, hide original holes.
    • Other various stuff that your sure to see ;)
    • Have fun!

I'm seriously open to any suggestion you may have. I'm not a very creative person so maybe someone can help me out.

    First Update:
    1. Added switches for cold cathodes, I know they're not even but they will be hid behind the acrylic going there.
    2. Cut Top/rear fan grills.
    3. Assembled my loop to see if everything was correct! :)
All the pictures are pretty self explanatory.

Went to mount the block and found out that it would not fit on the UD3P at all. Had to take it to the grinder..

This is my first time ever watercooling, installation was a breeze. Not one leak! Still trying to bleed it atm.. Expect more updates soon! Powdercoating sometime nextweek.

Will definitely be checking back to this thread as inspiration to continue my own Cosmos S mod.

Nice to see the Cosmos still being modded, seems like most people go for a HAF or 800D nowadays.
I need to get a few more parts then I'll be tearing mine down for water, hopefully soon :)

    Sounds good! :)

The HAF and 800D are SO common now. My friend just got a 800D, yes its impressive but there isn't much it needs modded. More or less some customization, not actual modding in my eyes.

Here is the design I've cooked up for the acrylic that goes in the side of the 5.25 bays. It will be black vinyl. I'm probably going to use red LEDs to backlight it. Think it looks good? Should I get rid of the nvidia claw?

I'll be using a plot cutter just like Maxishine does here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RajdTJA5wY
