Photos Was this photo of Tsar Bomba?

    I've had a poster of this very famous photograph for a couple of years, but never speculated as to which explosion it was:

    It turned up in an image search for 'Tsar Bomba', though. Does anyone know enough about the Tsar Bomb or the photo to dis/confirm that it's the same explosion?

    No, I think that was one of the experiments in Bikini Atoll/South Pacific.

    The geography looks tropical, and therefore, not Russian.

    I Think your correct as the guide at a cold war museum near where i live explained something like that and that photo looks very similar to the one i saw at the museum.
