    Ah yes, the old up our 'green' stats by shipping all of our cardboard to our customers.

    The Register's got a disturbing amount of pictures here.

    It reminds me of the time I received a very small USB drive... in a box the size of two multifunction printers. :rolleyes:

    The last one isn't so bad. Often heavy objects are sent on pallets because of weight. They should have used a half-pallet, though.

    Imagine if the post guy had to lift packets of UPS batteries for instance. :eeek:


    I did once get a SATA cable in a box about the size of the one in the last picture , though.


    edit: I now see that only the two first images showed up the first time I visited this thread. Didn't see what was IN the box... :duh:

    I got a 360 controller in a huge box from Amazon once. Quite useful actually as I moved flat about a week later :p
