Cooling [wc hm] The kipkooling :D

    Hello guys :naughty:
    first , I wanted to say that I'm French and that my English isn't very good

    Veiled, I present you my wc project
    For the moment I joined all these products.

    First stage:

    I cut copper with the grinding machine then I do contours with
    this machine: a grinder

    After a dremel and drill press session

    well, the continuation of the hostilities:)
    I started the HDD block
    I cut 5mm cupper. I made grooves with
    drill press and dremel discs

    So,I take 12/14 pipe and I cut it in the lenght
    in order to water is direct in the grooves like this

    Now, I brazed the block with this :D

    dude....this is water cooling DIY :)
    i think someone was asking about this previously.
    how many HDD are u using?
    wot about using heatpipe method?
    build 2 blocks on each sides for the number of HDD ur holding

    btw...wish i had all the equipment and skill 2 use them :)

    for the moment, one hdd will be integer in my future mod but an evolution could be possible.and you can build a block for a lot of hdd if you find big copper pieces.
    so i'm thinking that I'd been put my post in projects logs cause when wc will be complete, it will be integer in a tower which will be totaly modded to contains my device :)
    what are you thinking about it?
    now these wb are my firsts and allows me perfect my modding proceeds

    If my replys aren't complete, just say me :thumb: I'm french speaking and doing this post is a real challenge for me :D

    Probably some news of the gpu wb tomorrow :)

    I tested the block with an old hdd

    and I built the gpu top(sorry for the suxx quality of first pic)

    For the fluted elbows, I used the same proceed again except I keep the wired part

    looks very nice, but isnt that GPU block going to be just a tad restrictive?

    i think that block won't be very restrictive cause i have two big momma and my cpu block has two out and is a few restrictive

    thanks all.
    i'm just coming tell you that will be an update soon.these previous days, i've working on my wc device.I study the wb cpu maze and do an other waterblock... :D
    The end is coming .i'm a few afraid, it's my first wc and i wish it wasn't change my tower as an aqua park :hehe:

    Does the pressure from the screws stop water leaking our between the plexi and the copper base? I think my waterblock has a rubber gasket.
