Just wondering if I can use tubing to connect 2 gpu water blocks rather than a connecter like the one linked below. http://www.aquatuning.co.uk/product...ire-VID-connection-nipple-G1-4----2-Slot.html My plan was to use compression fittings and a small length of tube. I cant imagine any issues but this is my first water cooled build and hope the more experienced can help confirm. Appreciate any advice.
ive never done it my self and haven't water cooled or done SLI but i have seen many build logs where people have done just that
yup you can indeed do that, no problem with that, I think some people just prefer the connectors, or using long compression fittings if the cards are right next to each other
Good news, thanks for the replies! I just realized I forgot to order 2 fittings for doing this anyway Luckily I still need to get the right cards for this so I have time! Cheers
You can also use these if you prefer: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/bicrlitufor2.html You might wanna look into other people's experiences though. I don't like the thought of putting that much stress on a piece of acrylic.
