http://www.arci nspirations .com/napa/ (You'll have to work it out :p I don't want Google to go a spidering)

First website created at my new job. Bit'o'everything in this one. XHTML, CSS, Flash and some content management magic. (I have no idea about the PHP stuff so I left that bit to other clever people.)

It did have vine leaves around the picture and the blackboard but they were deemed to plasticy... :(
It did look better with them if you ask me though.

Oh, and CSS import picked it up really really quickly. /chuffed!

By the looks of it this may just be a linux flash/FF3B5 issue: the flash header has a huge border

    Looks good tho

Looks nice, but it gets ruined by the flash... I hate all sites with flash and I disable it as much as possible.

However, since the site isn't pure flash that's excusable ;)

Flash is here to stay. And it's not like I use it tastelessly. So *raspberry noise* :p

    @ Doug:
That is a Linux problem with flash... I think I actually know how to sort it so will have a look tomorrow morning... Something to do with z-index and wmode conflicting.

For all you people determined to disable flash though I'll have alternate content up as well. (Basically a static image... How boring...)

Looks really good, very professional. I do wonder if the logo at the top left is a bit 'sharp' or bright or something. Either way I keep getting distracted by it. Other than that though, perfect as far as I can tell :)

Make the producers of flash (don't want to call a name) support all platforms (including 64 bit!) and I'll stop my hate towards it (when used tastefull like you do). But as long as installing Flash gives me more headaches then installing a full Gentoo system I keep detesting it.

    Fair enough :p
Just out of interest. Without flash, what do you see? It should just be blank at the moment.

Also, on a side note. A project at my old place of work just got a webby award nomination! :D
The whole thing was my idea, but it's had trouble catching on (personally I would have executed it in a very different manner) but still, pretty cool to get noticed in this way! The main waga site is also up for a nomination as well which I did a load of animations for over the last 2 years shame I can't get my name on it directly as I've left magnitude now.

    /even more chuffed :D

Being picky, I'm not sure there's enough text there to justify having the normal <p> and slightly larger 'intro' class. On the Home page in particular it looks "wrong" to me, too long a <p intro>, not enough <p> following it. I think that idea works better with a first short sentence being bolder and the whole of the central section 'intro' size to set it off from the side columns.
    Nice job though. :thumb:

The joy of working closely with clients would be the reason for that. :p

And the lack of grape vines (seen here) which made me sad :(

Nice, only noticeable issue is the jagged edges on the logo.

Ohh no, I want Google to find the site, just not this forum post. Problems could arise due to a few things that will disappear in a few months.

Just a note; the buttons on a Mac do not get styled. To get around this, use <button>btnName</button> and all is well across all browsers.

    Good gob btw.
