Dammit, even if I were able to start now and not sleep she'll be back before I finish.

    Could make a start maybe.

It’s a lot more than a weekend, but hell yes.

    I've heard!

I'll certainly put it on my watch list, not sure if I'll start this weekend, I may have to see if I have a loooong period of time I'll be able to fit it in.

The Railway Men on Netflix, an Indian (subtitled) docudrama about the Bhopal Chemical Disaster in 1984.

I work in the field of predicting & modelling chemical releases for industrial sites so watching this is a bit of a busman's holiday.

2 Episodes in and found the technical aspects to be a good representation of the event and how things can go easily wrong if not managed.

There's a splash of Bollywood to the tone of the show. No off-tone dance number but there is clearly a very evil guy (American plant manager) and many very brave and noble Indian male characters - if you've watched RRR you know what I mean.

The dramatisation is engaging and the emotions elicited by the retelling of this real life tragedy is well judged.

Recommended to anyone with a Netflix account but not recommended for a romantic date night or those of a nervous disposition!

Sadly, due to different studios holding the rights, the BR isn't as complete as the old "Ultimate Collection DVD set", which also has the TV movies and the "Crusade" 13-episode spinoff.

Yeah I know, still better than nothing considering they were banging on about it not being able to remaster it

Top Boy season 5. Not exactly the best thing to watch when you anxiety is bad, but I have been any way :D

I accidentally think I might have seen a spoiler. IDK, kids today, want everything fed to them before they have even seen it :( ah well, let's hope it was wrong.

    The Continental

About 90 minutes too long. Too much Mel Gibson and not enough Mel Gibson getting shot in the face.

    :hehe:
Is this another propaganda series on how the war was won? Might swerve if so.

Shame, as I liked Band of Brothers (although The Pacific was incredibly dull, apart from the bit with the skull).

Billing it as Band Of Brothers in the air piqued my interest.
After the smaltzy opening with girlfriends in the bar before being posted I kind of guessed what was coming next.
Very disappointed and how The Guardian gave it five stars is beyond me

Hazbin Hotel: Helluva Boss is Better/10.

Meh. Should have kept the original voice cast. And now Prime Video has adverts I'm not so sure I'll tune in for the second series, if it even gets one.

    Halo 2
It's alright so far. I know it's cool to hate it, but I like Halo and I like Pablo and in reality, Chief has to eat (he's not a space marine) so the helmet would come off now and again thus I don't see what all the fan hate is about. It also makes Silver Team more human, which is what they're obviously going for, plus Spartans are flawed (albeit enhanced) normal beings rather than dogged religious fanatics. I don't think the sexy times from series one needed to be in there though, just in case anyone is thinking of watching with kids.
