The name Big Elf predates (1996) my fat bstard phase. I should really have been renamed 'Enormous Elf'

Ace Combat 7: Unexpected Expansion Pack!

Seriously, they announced it all of a week ago and I assumed it would be a few Top Gun themed skins, it's not :D
Although it is quite funny/depressing/inevitable that the SU-57 is now the '5th Generation Fighter,'

    I'm wearing boxer shorts.

I haven't been able to wear them since my first op in nov 2018. Just in time to avoid the summer chafe.

Finding out you have this just up the road from your ma's house.

That said should it make my life awesome? could potentially be life ruining :D

Nah jokes aside I am stoked. Quite a few old ones I want, but tired of paying the £4 value for the record and then £5 in postage.

Haven't pulled the trigger on anything other than a Nerf gun in about six years, but the missus surprised me with an air rifle activity at the caravan site we were staying at this week.

Not too bad, given how rusty I am - not to mention how rusty the cheapo SMK break-barrel with battered sights was!

Careful dangerously close to blaming your tools there !

But well done, that's better than I would have managed after a full day (and a tub of 500 pellets) !

TOM STOLTMAN WINS AGAIN! THE ALBATROSS FLIES PROUD!

Novikov missing out on second place was a bit of a surprise. Would've liked to have seen Luke in the top 3, but as mentioned previously, it's a mental line up this year. When Brian Shaw misses out on the podium, you know poo's got real.

Oh dude. You just reminded me of something.

When I was a kid (like under 5) my mum used to work as a Freeman's rep. Due to this she had huge piles of envelopes. Brown ones, pre printed and paid to send in people's cheques.

Now with me being autistic and developing an obsession with putting things in them just like mum I might have put her sapphire engagement ring in one and popped it in the post box as we walked past it.....

I still feel shitty about that to this day :D

    A classic childhood act.

Just the day before I overheard her showing Sully a toy on her phone and saying "If you can remember where you put my rings I'll buy you this." :hehe:

I had a session on the Air rifles not too long ago with my son. I had a decent break barrel rifle, where my son picked up a gas powered rifle. And I was pleasantly surprised at how silent, and smooth the gas powered was. Actually had a really great time :thumb:

ridiculous assumption sir. Me, I crash 'em into trucks, and other cars full of bank robbers, and sometimes even the wall. But that's not playing, that's just my inner 7 year old.

BBC TMS playing on my phone, synced up to the sky footage on the TV with a minor delay to catch instant replays of wickets while I do a bit of work on my laptop. The kitties are snoozing at my feet. Today is a good day.

Finally got my FXF 780i SLI board to boot. Now in the process of installing Win XP (again) on a build consisting of:

    Core 2 Duo E8400 (Dual core @ 3Ghz)
    2GB PC1066 DDR2 OCZ Reaper memory
    XFX 780i SLI MB
    Dual Quadro FX4500 GPU's (7800GTX 512MB proxy)
120GB SSD (because I am not going back to spinning rust... :p)

    3DMark01 > 06 here I come!! :D:D

Turns out the board just hates having all memory slots populated. They all work just doesn't like 4 at a time. Who knew when it was giving me a sodding CPU error..... (not like a modern CPU, the memory controller is on / in the NB thus I didn't even think it could be memory related!)

In other news, prepping a Win10/11 Hybrid install for a X58 build. Guide I am following stated the conversion of the install.wim file would hit the CPU....

    Yep!

EDIT: Lol the setup is slower than the previous one with a A64 6000+ & 7950GX2... The FX 4500's are clocked lower which is most likely causing the difference. Bizarrely they seem to have some sort of clock offset as Afterburner is reporting the clocks in benchmark around 40Mhz higher than what is set (stock 430 vs 470). Not sure what is happening there as the 7950GX2 was reported correctly and 430Mhz is correct for the Quadro.
