It may seem as minor things to many, but the week is just off to a good start.

I'm graduating from my PhD on Thursday, get to meet up with a few of the ZiiP crowd that evening for drinks in Edinburgh.

The farmers market that I organise and run has been given the ok to go ahead and trade on Sundays as well as our regular Saturdays between now and Christmas.

Wages came in from some consultancy work (minuscule wages, but every penny counts these days).

Mondays aren't so bad any more :)

We're getting perilously close to being ready to engrave the actual receiver - need to switch to single-line toolpaths, and run a few more test pieces...

One more shift and then a few days off.

Seven shifts in a row have gone quick. Seven night shifts that is.

Start a new fulltime job, Current freelance contracts are *FINALLY* starting to pay off, Found a potential GF so I'll have the money to actually do things with her, Booked a load of driving lessons *FINALLY*, patent I got a few months ago thinking nothing will ever come of it has a guy very interested in licensing it and I have a nice cup of coffee.

I'm going to be very ****ing busy the next few months, yay for positive mental attitude, pen/paper to plot dastardly schemes to pay your bills and blind luck.

I saved my father from himself. I received a call this morning, someone was trying to sell him a Rolkolsen home theater for 650$. I googled the thing, I didnt found any reviews, there was nothing on ebay or in store and the official site wasnt giving much information. After further research, I discovered that it was a big scam all around the country, a fake company selling crappy good looking home theater for a tenth of the claimed value. I sent my father a simple SMS 'SCAM' and kept sipping my tea. After 15 minutes I was struck by a doubt, what if he didnt saw the damn SMS ? I called him right away, he was actually loading the box in the car lolll Hopefully the seller gave him his money back.

Well, I'm preparing for the Olympiad, I'm seeing friends up in Edinburgh prior to XMas, it's my birthday tomorrow, and all my friends are preparing something. I'm blessed to have such friends; I'll need to tell them how much I appreciate them tomorrow.

One of my videos hit over 1k views. The most any video has been looked at in the past twelve months.

    :D

So I just found out that during an event I attended for a large software firm earlier this year I sat and chatted to the fudging Vice President of the company. Or one of them anyway.

A bill for the recent ambulance ride and treatment came. If my memory doesnt fail me, a total of nine medical professionals were assigned to my case due to changed pain location. Some doctor suspected a stroke to boot. Turns out it was just worse than average cluster so fentanyl to the rescue and couple hours of observation.

Total cost for me: 13,80 euros + 2,5 euros for a bus ride home. Socialism.

    Same

Plus tax rebate just before Christmas which is an epic win.

Should be getting a Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 today if all goes well. Hoping to get bought out of my current contract.

One company said they would but the deal wasnt as good as another so will see what they say.

I phoned Vodafone to get my sim card swapped, as it hadn't worked online and he's swapped me over, and also said "I'll just remove the content block for you, so that you can have a 'full range' of websites". Lad.
