Seems like most of those of you posting pictures here spend so much on custom key sets that you cannot afford full keyboards with a numeric keypad. Also, what's a keybard? Personally, I'm still rocking my NMB RT2258 keyboard (not entirely unlike this one) with a PS/2 connector and completely void of any special key including a Windows key. Oh, and it's using rubber dome keys as well.
Looking good long, almost feel like the caps need to compliment the candy corn even more so though...
Agreed, candy cap doesn't match. But I'm loving the grey and blue as it is! To be honest, I think you should just leave it grey.
Actually, it might be worth you checking the ergonomics for TKL keyboards compared to full ones - if you type even halfway correctly then the movement from letters to numbers is very short as opposed to moving your whole right hand to reach a number pad. It also means that the keyboard itself is more centred in front of you so is less likely to cause uneven strain over the course of a working day if you type a lot. The mouse being a lot closer to centre for when you need it also reduces strain. This is important to some of us as we use keyboards all day, every day and may have RSI issues that can be exacerbated by crap kit (I also have nerve damage at the top of my spine which can result in me losing the use of my left arm temporarily - you'd be right in thinking that minimising strain is rather important to me!) As penance for your lack of subtlety and rampant trolling, please repeat these words in quick succession until you get the message - "Golf Lock Use Elf" Right, enough feeding the troll. longweight, it wouldn't work with the keyboards I have or the colour schemes I've chosen but that candy corn is sweet! I couldn't get on with that HHKB though - I may be TKL all the way but that's a touch too minimalist for me I've nothing planned beyond the hammer and sickle cap unless someone starts a group buy for red PBT caps with ninja print in black.
I wasn't sure whether or not I should reply to this, but considering the condescending and quite hostile nature of your post I feel I have to. First and foremost, did you notice the smiley at the end of that sentence? Did it at all occur to you that I might be jesting? Second, I probably use a keyboard (and mouse) at least as much as anyone on here, perhaps even more, considering I develop software for a living. Oh, and I have beginning RSI issues as well. I just don't need to be a <insert favourite derogatory term here> about it.
^^ too be honest it was very clear you made a joke and it also made me laugh at that. Certainly didn't need to be called a troll. I did however find the info given about TKL and RSI useless and a good read so cheers for that also!
Well said, and the flared tempers are a good reminder that of it seems harsh without a smiley, adding one doesn't cut it. Let's get back to keyboards now folks. Sent from my HTC Desire HD using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
"What did you do to your keyboard today?" Well I managed to remove all of the keys from my G15 (holy crap you get a lot of dirt under there after 3 years), cleaned the panel and also the keys. I then replaced all of the keys from memory (benefits of being a geek) only to find that I'd snapped one of the black plastic holders for the metal arm on the spacebar (not very savvy with KB terminology) so now my spacebar see-saws and I'm ready to cry
On this particular keyboard (Logitech G15) they're black, there's one at each side of the space for the spacebar and are used to allow the metal arm to be slotted in, this is on the panel/keyboard side of things, not the key. If that makes things any clearer... I can post a picture for clarification if neccassery
