Maybe someone can come up with some ideas to incorporate these into a mod.

    Advanced Stealths!

What about stealthing an old Commadore, or maybe an Apple II? I'd do it if I had one lying around. Sneak a stealthed cdrom drive, scrap the innards. Empty a monitor shell and replace it with a flat panel inside, or figure a way to insert a CRT into the plastic shell of the old monitor..

Or stealth a computer inside of a radiator...
Would be fun to see at a big Lan party with a person playing Counter-Strike on an old amiga.

I could try to do this, but its less work and just as entertaining if someone else does this. :D

  4. I think the recliner mod was a good idea. :)

OK i think i have a reasonable mod...
    This isnt really computer related.
How about modifing a computer into a desk.

Let me explain, build the actually PC hardware into a draw so you can easily access the system at the pull of a handle, and then sink the monitor into the desk surface under some plexiglass, much like you see on the news.

    Whatca think

No not really like that, if you watch summit like the BBC news, you can see they have really big desks, with a big glass bit in the middle, and that where the autocue comes from.

Think that would look cool as a desk.

I know - how about a case made of clay? YAY! Build the clay around a wire frame, and stick it in the kiln - and woohoo! CLAY CASE

well my m8 has a gr8 wall unit for building into a PC. two 19" monitor sized cabinets, a tall cupboard just the right height for creating a rackmount, and loads of little draws all over for cds and floppies and CD drives and ****. were gonna take it on some time....

    pointless eh?

Nah, I still think that the clay case would be the msot super-uber l33t, mostest orginalest, bestest, greatestest case, ever.

I looked down and saw my scanner, how about a scanner mod? I've NEVER seen a scanner mod.

Hee! Put a window mod on the top of the scanner straight down to the glass with the MAGIC LIGHHHHTTTT....

Then you get a happy white spot, or black spot depending on the scanner.

    Hoorah! Hoorah!

Ooh or overclock it, so it makes a big blurr as it goes too fast =P

You could overclock a printer 200% and just have it make lots of long messy lines. Hoorah! Hoorah!

Well atm, I am debating (with myself of course) whether or not to try and mod the slightly-old VCR sitting on my desk into a PC.

*sigh* But it still works, but the TV tuner is bugg0red.

Nope i'll have to leave that to someone else.

    How to quieten your pc.

Couldn't agree more with whoever said that, your next article / guide should be 'How to quieten your pc...that really does make it quiet.'
You should think of different techniques to quieten your pc as I rarely leave my pc on over night as the coolermaster cpu fan is sooooo loud, far louder than all my other fans put together. Its a shame because my pc cannot reach its full download capabilitys when turned off :)
