    I think the wallpaper is the Longhorn Bliss one, I found it using Google's image search a while ago. If you want I could email it. (Its 1024x768 if your interested.)

    I could share the Samurize script too if you want but it would need some modding to work on your computer. :p

    Thanks for the links guys and yeh i use 1280 x 1204 if you were going to modify it. You dont have to I was just wondering

    Open Photoshop
    File/new (whatever size you want)

    select white as front colour if not already selected and fill the layer if not already white.

    Filter/noise/add noise - set to around 50. Monochromatic, uniform.

    Filter/blur/motion blur. ANgle 0 degrees, Distance around 40 pixels (maybe larger if image is 1280 or above... personal taste.

    If you want it to look more 3d, then: Filter/render/lighting and add a lighting effect with texturing on red channel, with height set to around 5.

    Experiment with settings as desired.

    Voila!! Instant brushed steel.

    Or... visit The New Bit-tech wallpaper thread and help yourself to some of the nice shiny alloy wallpapers there.
