What Does your Desktop look like?

    For the mac-looking desktop:

    A) Get StyleXP, it makes it easier to change themes.

    B) Go to www.studiotwentyeight.com. They've got great skins including a few great osx skins.

    C) Get Y'z Dock (or MobyDock, or ObjectDock). Also, you can get a skin for them if you'd like (I'm using the iTunes sking from studiotwentyeight.com, but the real osx doesn't look like it), the default skin for Y'z Dock looks more like the real osx.

    D) Go to www.jonmega.com for some tips and they have mac icons you can download.

    E) The iTunes is really QCD Player with the iTunes skin (I don't use QCD but it looks good in the screenshots ;)). This was before iTunes for Windows came out, which I suggest you get instead.

    F) About this Mac is a little program. I don't remember from where though. Try searching for it.

    G) Shadows. Y'z Shadow. (you can't have a mac without the shadows)

    H) Y'z Toolbar. I didn't have it then, but Y'z toolbar is a program that will let you change the buttons in explorer. People design skins for it and you can get the OSX ones.

    I) Go to the forums at www.aqua-soft.org and www.aquaxp.com for more great ideas and for help.

    Using using one of the default styles in StyleXP, nothing special.

    And yes, that is a P4 2.8GHz @ 3GHz running at 27C with just the standard Intel HSF, one standard 80mm exhaust fan and a blob of AS3 :D

    cheating the swear-filter is naughty si :nono:, i'd change it before a mod slaps you accross the face with a large tree-dwelling mammal...

    ps: yeah, got logging in and 'uptime' down now, just a matter of getting apache to work... hop to it linux-monkey :lol:

    b_dyche--you're running 1600x1200? What size monitor do you have?


    I'll probably be getting rid of the mac theme soon, slows stuff down too much. Tho, its a good exuse to update to 1gb ram :rolleyes: ...if only I had the money :(
