Can anyone recommend some headsets in the £15-40 range?

I don't need anything too fancy like 5.1 surround - just a microphone and stereo cans will do. Sound quality should be reasonable, but I'm no audiophile. I just want something that will do a half-decent job without costing the earth and/or falling apart in two months.

I need to buy something by the end of the month.

I've bought these before and they did the job. Apologies for the source of the link, it was just the first one I found.

Beware though - the microphone has a tendency to break if you stand on it. Done that a couple of times myself.:wallbash:

Hmm.. they look really tempting. I like the detachable mic and amazon have them for £33 with free delivery :). I'll wait a bit to see if anyone has any other suggestions but if not, I'll probably go for them.

    Thanks :D

I have used quite a few different gaming headsets but, the best resource I found to get an impartial view on them can be found at http://www.gamingheadsetreport.com, they are constantly adding new headset reviews.

wow that site needs some serious work...

"Gaming Headset Reviews | A Collection of Gaming Headset Reviews
A site dedicated to various gaming headset reviews"

how many times do they need to repeat themselves lol...

that right there comes off as very non professional but I will take another look and check out the site some more later.
