I hate people (mainly americans) that butcher the english language because they are too damn lazy (or dumb) to learn anything. Surely americans (north atleast) can learn how to spell? Their main (and only?) language is english isnt it? Hell, I speak better english than most, and im useless. I also hate people that repeat things "I heard you the first damn time!" /end megarant... spleen... heh, such a cool word.
My pet peeve is people who don't use the correct form of 'there', 'they're', or 'their'. Oh, looks like you've pissed me off. Actually that is one of my pet peeves - another is just basic stupidity and people who expect me to do things at times that I can't, and then when I can they can't or don't want to. Oh, forgot one: when my parents think that every song I listen to is me expressing myself through the lyrics.

I know this will get people asking, so heres my answer before you do: people do bad things only because bad things have been done to them, if they were treated as proper human beings and taught to live in society as an equal not an outcast, or that they are somehow better than others, or worse, there would be nothing wrong with this world, the human aspect at least. people who think inteligence = memory not creativity and ingenuity. people who get angry over stupid stuff, eg: road rage. people who consider societies ills to be none of their concern. people who hate people for nothing other than their demographic (eg. race, sex, religion, age, height, size, disability or lack thereof) people who encourage violence upon their fellow man people who degrade society and the human race as a whole by living life day-to-day, with possibilities of helping others, even if there is personal risk involved. and do nothing for those in need and still consider themselves a "good person". people who section society, IE. people who make distinctions between race, religion, age, sex, disability etc. people who have distaste for others wealth, whether they help others or not. people who think its holier than thou to be vegetarian/vegan/whatever because "its wrong to eat something alive", when in their ignorance they forget that we are all alive, including plants, including that which sustains them, making them no more 'holier' than any. Subsiquently, also those who think that to eat a 'non-intelligent being' is more acceptable than eating one that does, who are they to decide that only the intelligent should survive? people who force their views on others, when not appropriate, such as when someone has a 'fake fur coat', attacking them when it need not be necessary. Even if they had a 'real fur coat', its still not necessary. people who advertise men as neandertols, non-thinking pieces of flesh, who are utilitarian only in nature and that women are the only intelliegent sex. Read: any advert in which a couple play a pivitol role. people who degrade themselves by flaunting flesh as though it makes them 'more attractive' when in fact it makes them less attractive, because they are more easily attained. People who think democracy is the only form of government. people who think space is a place for exploitation of the masses. people who define their, and others, worth by how much they have people who think there is a monetary equivilent of a human life people who advocate war people who think war is a game and watch the news as though it was a cartoon or other form of entertainment people who have no respect for others, in that they demand they look in a certain way, act in a certain way, and in plain, emulate them so as to reasure them that they are doing the best they can do with their life. people who think a life is nothing without external merit, as in, a person is nothing unless they achieve something grand. And that reform can never be accomplished, unless it is themselves who is being reformed, which of course could never happen, because "they are gods children"... give me a break. people who think the idea of any alternative lifestyle, whether being technological, sexual, religious, social, economical etc. is wrong because its not "their way" and as such intend harm upon those that live such lifestyles. people who think that law should be a black and white situation, with no 'grey areas'. where people are given a punishment standard to everyone, regardless of their situation and background. people who resent the fact that others may be better than them, in whatver way (eg. strength, sexuality, morality, intelectual prowess, etc.) people who will complain about how long this post is

BTW i'm no doley.nor do i think anyone on BiT is. it isn't.lets put it this way.if someone kills your brother/sister do you want them to be banged up and 'rehabilitated' or dead?if someone killed my little brother i'd want them in the ground as well wether it be by my hands or the courts.
you've just proved my point of view, not your own. what you want doesnt matter. Many people want Gorge bush dead, that doesnt mean its either right or going to happen just because they dont want him alive. What truly matters is preventing the event from reocurring and by simply ending their life is nothing more than that. It doesnt solve the true problem. In fact it probably causes more problemes than anything, for example if someone killed a person because their sick (mentally) and get pleasure from it, with capital punishment they are condemed to die. In such a situation, where the person is not 'all right' in the head, where the person gains pleasure from killing, they would see it as "I'm doing to die anyway, I might as well have fun before they get me". Thus causing more unwarrented deaths, whereas in this situation the person could at least be medicated, perhaps even sectioned from society if needs be. I know this is a very specific situation, but its happend before and will again while capital punishment is chosen over _proper_ rehabilitation.
but my original point was Capital Punishiment shouldn't be painless.i never said anything about it being right or wrong,just that it shouldn't be humane.
