Other What to do with an OLD computer?

My mom just bought one pretty much same specs for 35$ with a monitor keyboard mouse, she wanted something to have as a back up for if her laptop fails. It's not a terrible slow system for just checking email or something.

 

Use it as a seat

 

File Server

 

I still say give it to me.

 

Firstly, overclock the floppy drive.

Secondly, donate it to charity.

 

Step 1: Get a video camera.

Step 2: Find someone with a trebuchet.

Step 3: Post results for our enjoyment

 

Since it is not worth anything keep it as an emergancy need to have connectivity PC or give it to someone else that would appreciate it because they can't get one for one reason or another.

I have one of those oldies around also. It helped me once when my PC went down and I needed to go online for getting a warranty RMA going...lol

Dont just bin it, what a waste
Donate it if you arent going to use it, or even if you dont want to then, recycle it, most places have those kinda facilities.
