Losing the will to live over planning a £400 "CPU & cooler*/mainboard/RAM" list, to get the best (more) out of my RX Vega 56... see below for current build.
    *optional/better-than-stock?

It's not really ruining, but today I retire my last Spinpoint. 1tb, 34,231 hours, incalculable amounts of data written, 20 pending sectors.

The Spinpoint range really were my favourite of the 1TB spinning rust.

I must dig out my old 200gb (Maxtor?) HDD and read it's SMART status. It still runs like a champ but it was a daily driver in my old PC for an ungodly amount of years.

Feeling absolutely drained after every single day at work at the moment. There isn't a chance in hell I'm going to get all of my knowledge transfer documentation complete by the time I leave this job: I've a half day on Wednesday, I'm going to be doing handover sessions all day Thursday, and damned if you're going to get anything substantial out of me on Friday when it's my last day. Realistically I have tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday to finish up all the crap that I'm working on and get another 15-20 technical documents done. Not a chance in hell.

I'm leaving, so at the end of the day... **** 'em. But they're really getting their money's worth from me right now, and I still have to put up with the World's Worst Manager until I'm done.

I was supposed to be going to a cloud computing talk/meet up thing this evening; there's no way I can face 3-4 hours of techie stuff, getting home at gone 10pm, and then getting up at 0530 to go back in tomorrow to yet another shitty day.

Next Friday cannot come soon enough.

After months of waiting to go to a concert with my parents, the day has arrived and I feel like absolute ****, and am on the edge of having an anxiety attack. Not the best place right now.

Not ruining, but there's a discussion in the Quake community about a guy that's pretty obviously cheating. Now people are beginning to fight each other over the accusations instead of doing something against the cheater. This is really getting on my nerves.

This PhD, really struggling, so close to the end but finding it difficult to keep working on it, simultaneously can't wait/am terrified of next Friday!

Every Friday for the last 3 weeks, I've finally completed one specific, complicated drawing for one of our engineers.

Every Monday, I return to work to find he's changed his mind about what he wants. AGAIN! :wallbash:

Escalating to my manager. Again... :sigh:

My weekend - went to Tenby to try and make some positive memories, intending to do a little bit at a time, my parents take me directly to the place that was mine and my ex-fiance's spot, despite my repeated requests to avoid it like the plague, and find out on Sunday that she's gotten in touch with my family rather than messaging me directly. It's silly but I'm in an absolutely depressed rage about the whole thing
