I have the option to get an Evga 670 for £294, an Evga Cheesecake for £308 or an MSI for £304.
Would the Evga Cheesecake be the best choice?

I picked the cheesecake. Waiting for it to arrive Monday. That's a good price for it :)

    I'm sure I won't!!

DPD said they would deliver between 09:16 and 10:16 and it was onsite by the time I got into work at 09:30 this morning... already prepared my case and pre-routed cables etc ready to build the new rig tonight. Now all I need is my vehicle back from BT Fleet, hope the service / MOT / re-call doesn't take too long today! :D

Just thought I'd add my 2c worth to this thread.

I got my 4GB EVGA 670s 5 days ago now, and I've had plenty of time to play and test.

They do +100MHz clock, and +700MHz Mem with only 110% TDP and NO volts increase.

Clocks boost to 1250 with those settings.

    Awesome cards.

I'm surprised it's as quiet as it is. With a £100 premium for 8% performance increase, no one in their right mind will be buying a 680.

    Or the £200 premium I paid for the GTX 680 4GB cards...:/

It changed from what would you get to what did you get. There's not a lot to add after that.

Had the Zotac 680 4GBs been in stock at time of my purchase, I probably would've bought them but in hindsight the SCs are the best bang for buck if you want more ram.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 3011 so it will help, though ram vs bandwidth is still unresolved

I'm going to bump/necro this thread to say I've just picked up a MSI GTX 670 OC for £280 off of Scan's Today Only.

Specs seemed pretty good for the price and reviews seemed positive, so bit the bullet. I decided that the EVGA card wasn't worth £20 more, and the MSI comes with a higher clock speed anyway.

Did you get a U3011? Are you running it with 1 GTX 670? What's performance like?

Sadly no, we are now moving and I've had to massively curb the size of my rig.

TJ11 is to be sold as is a lot of WCing bits, 1 670 already gone and U3011 went back to the shop.

    To summarize: :wallbash: :waah:

My 2 670 4GBs maxxed all games I played @ 60fps apart from metro 2033, Max Payne and Crysis!

No idea. I got it to get better fps in BF3. I'm pretty sure it will be fine for the most part. I've ordered my second one a few days ago, I expect it to arrive by next wednesday or so.

Just hit the buy button on a EVGA 670. Just for the peace of mind afforded by them not wiping out the warranty when you fit a waterblock.

That's awful. If it makes you feel any better I just ordered a U3011 and a couple of Asus GTX 670 DirectCU II TOP cards:D
The cards are on pre-order, have to wait 1-2 weeks so let me know if I've made a mistake there.

my Cheesecake seems stable at 1305, boosts fairly regularly. Took me a while to get used to the new OCing method but the benefits are great, especially being able to run 2 monitors without idling on full clocks
