Keep up the good work man..It's already looking much better . You really need to sort out the bottom-right at the back though - the bit where the wood doesn't join?..You cant have that . BTW - I'm really, really impressed with the way you've taken everybody's advice into account - and yet you're still sure of the way you want your case to look. That is, you don't let people make your mod for you, but you're not afraid to take advice from people who are more experienced in the field, so to speak. I think that's really mature, and I respect you immensely for that. Keep it up - and welcome to bit-tech, looking forward to see how your project develops, man.
deadly-app: Thanks! I hope so. Isuo: Thanks! Leeum:Thanks. What do you mean? Do you have any link to the prosject? Midwinter: Thanks. Do you have any tips about what I should do? The little bit is helping to hold the psu in "press"
Here's a link. I'm not sure what the stuff is called but it sure brings up a nice grain of the wood and the colour is awesome Perhaps if you post he'll be able to point you in the direction of the stuff if you like it, perhaps it comes in other colours
I am working with the case now, so I think I am going to post a update soon. Maybe today . Thanks for the interest
Here comes the update, Isuo Here is a picture of how the case looks from the back: From the front: A perspective view: As you can see, I have made the other side too. The door sits so good fast, that I don't need anything to hold it fast. With the door removed: Come with comments!
Thank you so much! The change will be bigger, and will end up to the coolest case you have seen and will see ...I hope
It's true - it's already looking much, much better and very promising indeed. With a bit of tidying up and a good paintjob, you might well be onto a winner . Keep it up! EDIT: You might want to consider hinges for your door though - no matter how fast it sticks, I could see it getting really irritating what with mobility and such.
Midwinter: Thank you!! I don't think I am gonna fasten the door because it sits so fast. I have never been in a lan. Sverdfisk: Thanks, thanks! Cowinacape: Thanks !!' I have bought more plexi today, so it will be a update soon.
Update again! I have now made a window as you can see. Took on some bondo to get it at the same level as the other stuff. The "plexichasis" is going to get the same finnish as the case(glossy white) Sanded a little bit of the bondo. I have to wash the window. It is dirty. With mothercard and psu inside of the case Just a another picture
Really good, really good. Except of one minor thing, is it just me or is the window a bit on it's side? Anyways, really good work.
Looks great Have you sorted the rear of the case so the PSU can sit inside screwed to the frame? If not i'm sure if you search around the forums you'll be able to find a template drawn to scale for the holes etc. Keep it up
