LOL - even a idiot would recognise that old people (who vote conservative for the most part) are the least likely to have photo ID as they have grandfathered drivers licences without them.

I also appreciate how he didn't learn his lesson:

"It was done on trust, and the system worked. If there's any problem in our system, it's with postal votes, which don't require voter ID."

You mean postal votes that are quite frequently used by the elderly and infirm to cast votes because reaching a polling station is difficult for them?

*Slaps own face with the shear stupidity of it all*

Don't say that too loudly, they might hear you. If the tories what to further shoot themselves in the foot, I say let them.

I've been thinking, that if I decide to go into politics, I’m going to change my name to Manny Festo.

I'd change mine to None Of The Above, see if I can't capture the disaffected votes.

I'd go with Paddy Cutts, to capture the feline vote.

Just blatantly admitting that the change was motivated by wanting to suppress non-Tory voters. He was an active part of the team that bought the change so this seems like essentially an admission of a criminal act.

Can we all agree that JRM def wins the "surprise surprise he's a nonce" award, if anyone was so blatantly obvious/connected/rich enough to get away with it... It'll be him...
I would happily bet everything I own one day this will turn up on the news and everyone will have to pretend to be shocked...

I'm afraid I'm not fully immersed in the echo-chamber so I don't quite know the rules for insinuating that a public figure is a paedophile in this space.

Sorry didn't understand any of that woke twitter nonsense. The guy looks and behaves like a nonce personality wise, his money/stature is irrelevant. Bored. Unsubbed.

Trump has been indicted, Nadine Dorries steps down, Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson steps down, and it's a Friday.

    It's been a good day.

A Cockroach dies, there are many more Cockroaches.

On the one hand Borris is no longer an MP ahead of what is surely a damning report coming in. On the other hand, Sir Rees-Mogg, Dame Patel. In my heart I want Charles to grow a pair and say no, in my head...

Johnson and GoNads going on the same day, does this mean Carrie is on her own now?

Give it a year for press to die down, or just before the next GE so nobody will notice.
