grats on the nom,
mmmm noms... anyway nice build
Hello everyone !!
Small update with the arrival on some new parts, sleeves, cold cathodes and 12 fan Be-quiet
fans on the phobya nova 1080
and i have started sleeving ( I hate doing this )
Dayum! Those are some amazing looking fans!
Damn nice paintjob on those fans man!
Those fans look awesome
Sleeving in progress
Sleeving ok for the 9 120mm fans
cable for cold cathode ok
new SSD Kingston HyperX 120 Go to replace my vertex 2 ( RIP )
and a brand new dvd player ( my old one was really too noisy )
I hope I could replace the lamptron FC-6 by a FC-10, but it seems that it is not still for sale
See you soon for new updates
I got my FC10 at xoxide.com. Check there.
Thanks, but too expensive to buy it out of EU with postal and customs taxes
Very very very nice.
Stars & sub, already voted for MOTM
I don't usually make comments or really like steampunk but this mod kickass! Keep up the good work.
oh, thanks maestro
I found some nice nails and put them on the FC-6
phobya nova with 9 sleeved and painted be-quiet
and I have finally changed the door on the top of the case, better like this than a simple part of UV acrylic
I will paint it tomorrow
Still waiting for the steampunk computer that's actually powered by a steam engine!
mmmm, this can be done, but too noisy for me
paint of the door OK
the fan's grill will be changed, i have an idea but i will do it with a 3D printer.
Today, creation of a "fan grill" for the rear 140mm fan
i will surely put some copper tube on it
That's all for the moment, fed up with the dremel
I have received some Bitfenix alchemy and started the cable management
I have also created a molex distributor for cold cathode and UV Led
And time came to begin the mounting
The Steam'n Geek project is now almost finished. 2 parts are just missing to replace the fan grill on the top. Must been done with a 3D printer soon
Small update. I don't really have time for me, we just had our 1st baby, so modding in stand-by for the moment.
This up to show you the two "fan grill" made by a 3D printer
with some car's mastic
and before painting
I will re-start the build in a few time.
